The notice a landlord serves before filing for unpaid rent.

The month or period the rent was for.

In Idaho, the 3-day notice to pay rent or quit gives the tenant 3 days. Paying the full amount inside the period stops the eviction, by statute.

Idaho Code § 6-303(2), (3): The notice must state the amount due and tell the tenant that, after a judgment, a residential tenant has 72 hours to remove belongings. Paying the rent within the three days saves the lease.

Every field is optional; a blank one prints as a line to write on. The notice is in English, as it is served in the US.

What the statute says about unpaid rent

The notice must state the amount due and tell the tenant that, after a judgment, a residential tenant has 72 hours to remove belongings. Paying the rent within the three days saves the lease. (Idaho Code § 6-303(2), (3))

What the statute says about a lease violation

The tenant may perform the broken covenant within three days and save the lease. No notice is needed where the breach cannot afterwards be performed, and drug activity on the premises carries no right to cure. (Idaho Code § 6-303(3), (5))
