What the statute says about unpaid rent

Eviction lies once rent is three days late, and the landlord must then give three days' written notice of intention to evict before filing. The statute gives the tenant no right to stop the case by paying within the notice period. (N.D. Cent. Code §§ 47-32-01(4), 47-32-02)
