Connecting a channel

Connect each channel to the unit it sells. From then on there is one calendar, and a booking on any channel blocks the date on all of them. Double bookings are the failure this exists to prevent, so the sync runs first and asks questions later.

Same-day turnovers

A checkout and a check-in on the same date is not a clash. It is a same-day turnover, and it is the tightest thing your cleaner will be asked to do. Dardaris marks it as soon as it appears, and the board shows the hours the cleaner actually has between the checkout and the next arrival rather than a date. See cleaning and turnovers.

Orphan gaps

A one-night hole between two bookings will usually not sell at the standing rate, and an empty night earns nothing at all. Dardaris finds these gaps and proposes a price for them. Applying it is yours: pricing rules.

Commission

Every channel takes a cut, and the cut is the difference between a good headline rate and a bad night. The commission is recorded per booking, so the performance figures show you what you were actually paid rather than what the channel advertised.
