Cleaning and turnovers

The turnover board, how a clean gets created, and what a turnover records.

The turnover board

One board per day: what checks out, what checks in, what has to be cleaned in between, and who is doing it. A turnover carries who has it and where it has got to, from needing a cleaner through to done, and an issue reported on one is the only failure in short stay that cannot be fixed afterwards.

Scheduling

Dardaris creates the turnover clean the moment a booking lands, and marks it as needing a cleaner until one is assigned. Creating it is an Auto step, part of setting the booking up: it happens, and you see it on the board. Assigning the cleaner is yours.

Same-day turnovers

Where the same date carries a checkout and a check-in, the window is hours rather than a day, and it is flagged on the board from the moment the booking lands. See same-day turnovers.

Linen and consumables

Each turnover records whether the linen was changed and the consumables were restocked, so a cleaner's report is a record rather than a memory. Buying either is yours: Dardaris does not order stock. What it may spend on your behalf, and where that stops, is under autonomy tiers and spend caps.

What it costs sits with the rest: pricing rules.
